Magnificent

Delighted with every corner, every color and the entire Staff.
It has magic, it has freshness, super clean. Comfortable room, with sofa, large, fluffy double bed.
Rooftop for breakfast is the icing on the cake, varied breakfast.

Very hospitable riad!
An oasis of peace next to the busy Medina. Everything was very clean.
It was a 5 minute walk to the Souks. The hostess also gave tips for sightseeing and provided a map to help us find our way everywhere. Highly recommended!

A corner of paradise in the heart of Marrakech

We have just had one of our greatest hotel experiences at Riad Zahir. A magical and unforgettable week in a timeless place.
To begin with, we must mention Hélène, the owner of the place, or rather the soul of the Riad. She is of rare kindness, we shared much more than advice on the city and activities but above all real human and authentic moments. Seeing her hold this establishment at arm's length is truly touching. Fatima and Radidja are also perfect, discreet, but efficient and also very kind.
The place of course, after taking the small alley which leads to the majestic blue door at the entrance to the Riad, we discover an oasis of serenity and calm with an idyllic patio and a very strong atmosphere. The typical room tastefully decorated, quality bedding and above all perfect cleanliness.
Life on site, what a pleasure to enjoy the magnificent pool after a day of walking in the streets of Marrakech, to taste a delicious mint tea on the terrace and above all to enjoy the Moroccan breakfast freshly prepared every morning. A feast for the eyes and taste buds.
Finally, the ideal location near the entrance to the zouk, there are lots of great places to eat and places to visit like the Secret Garden and the Confluences Museum.

Never again!

I have been to Marrakech before and enjoyed my stay however, this holiday was not as described by the agent - if you have never stayed inside the Medina before, limit it to a day. Far to noisy with the mosque calling to prayer 5 times a day, first call before 7am. You cannot drive because the lanes are too narrow and you are likely to get lost, if you are not run over by the bikes. The are no lane names and the locals know you are lost so be prepared to pay them to help you find where you are going. Our bedroom had no windows, no tv, no kettle and dodgy WiFi. Booked for 7 days but checked out after 2 and enjoyed the remainder of out holiday outside the medina - the addition cost was worth it in order to salvage the holiday.

Tranquil perfection tucked away from the chaos!

My partner and I stayed here for a week and we absolutely loved it. I see a lot of reviews here with names I don't recognise but Helene (who took on the Riad just before COVID) was an absolutely brilliant host. Fatima kept us well fed and watered every morning and never failed to share a big smile with us at every opportunity.
The room was spacious, cool and very clean with a 'newly refurbed' feel to it. Comfortable bed and quiet even when other residents were coming in and out through the evening etc.
The pool area is not huge but plenty enough for an afternoon cool down and chilling out with a book. The rooftop is nice abut we didn't spend too much time as it was 38 degrees!
Highly recommend staying here, Helene & Fatima will go out of their way to ensure you're happy and can help with booking taxis, spa visits etc.
