MGM Springfield was disappointing.

MGM Springfield got rid of many fun and lucky slot machines. The firelink machines in the high limit slots are all gone and replaced with a table gaming area. The slot machines were very tight and the food in the food court is not very good. Our room was not peaceful as you can hear the street noise and cars. The walls are thin and we heard the tv from next door blasting till 1:00 am. We had to call security to deal with it.

We stayed 1 night & had a relaxing enjoyable experience. Beautiful hotel & we felt safe. The outdoor park is very clean & nicely maintained. The casino area was just enough. Many slots & tables. The restaurants were awesome too!

Plenty of things to do for kids whether in the MGM or around it all walkable. Basketball hall of fame, or Dr Seuss and other museums connected within the MGM swimming pool or bowling or movies. Plenty of options to choose from for food.

My first time in Springfield MA.. I think I disliked the area not the hotel… the hotel is beautiful, staff was very nice, beautiful room, comfy bed. Wish there were more options and better places to eat. If you HAVE to be in Springfield, then this is a beautiful hotel to stay.

Except for not having a dairy free alternative available for the coffee station in the room, everything else was top notch. The room’s air purifying system offered “white noise” while helping the breathing qualify for its occupants.
There was only one light that was not working (a small bedside lamp between the queen size beds) but because there were others on the side of each bed, plus the main light switch in the room that controlled the bigger lights, we were able to accommodate our nighttime lighting needs.
The safe and frig within the room were hidden from sight but a great use of the closet space.
The handicapped bathroom features made the space feel like a spa. In room complimentary toiletries were nicely scented and in easy to use pump containers.
Bedding was heavenly! Having a wall switch to operate the sheer curtains and black pit drapes was very convenient. Large TV (which could be seem from both beds was a nice feature.)
