First Class

We have recently returned from our annual stay at this hotel. We stay here when we visit friends in Cleveleys. The hotel is on the main route for bus and trams into Blackpool. The Lady and her husband who run the hotel could not be more friendly . The hotel and its room are spotlessly clean and the breakfast is first Class.

A lovely stay at this good value clean and friendly hotel

We had a lovely overnight stay in the 242 Hotel Blackpool (Bispham) the location
was perfect for us. Right on the sea front , just out of the busy centre but with good transport links , a tram station opposite and frequent buses. Also possible to walk .
There was some free parking at the front but also in side roads nearby.
Within yards of the Hotel there is Red Bank road , offering a good selection of shops, restaurants , bars , take aways etc.
Sharon and Martyn made us very welcome , Sharon had kindly changed our room and given us one more suitable for mobility needs , she also gave us lots of useful information and tips .
We had a great breakfast and noted that while we were a couple , there were some useful options for families eg being able to bring in takeaways and use the breakfast area to eat in. Or use to play board games etc on a rainy day.
We would happily stay again at this good value , clean and friendly hotel .

Lovely Stay!

This was our second visit to Hotel 242. It is a great B&B in the perfect location for a weekend in Blackpool. You can walk down the promenade to Blackpool town or hop on the tram. Rooms are clean and the staff are lovely and welcoming.

Just returned from a weekend in this lovely little gem of a B&B in Bispham,
Very friendly welcome from both hosts, free water and cake in lounge area,
Lovely comfortable room quiet and homely, comfortable bed.
Great breakfast, plenty of choice.
Nice touch if you want to bring food in for dinner or supper there are plates and cutlery available to use in the dining area.
Highly recommend, will definitely return

Lovely stop over

A lovely little BnB. We stayed here one night as part of a wider trip. The room was clean and comfortable and hosts lovely and friendly with a nice breakfast served. We did find the bed a little small and hard but that's just us and certainly not a big deal. I was also a bit disappointed to find that the glass in the bottom half of the window was frosted. I paid an extra £18 for a sea view but unless I stood up next to the window I couldn't even see the sea! Sitting on the bed or the chair you can only see the sky and none of the view at all! The view is nice when you are standing at the window though! It's a bit of a trek on foot into town, which was fine with us as it's a nice walk but if you don't fancy it there is a tram station outside so it's a nice location. It's also quiet and there is parking outside which was appreciated as we had expensive bikes in our van!
