I was not impressed by the receptionist who greeted me. I was misled about occupancy and her manner was abrupt. I can only assume she is not use to dealing with international clientele and inclusivity.
I had to ask for the manager who immediately addressed my issue and he was able to deal with my intial request which I had emailed 3 weeks prior for early check in.
I was very impressed with my room which overlooked the beach and it the room had a fridge, air conditioning and bathroom was finished to a high standard.
The cleaning was thorough and the team very attentive. Always smiling and friendly which was a deep constrast to the intial receptionist I encountered.
Breakfast was part of our package, the produce was of a high quality and is buffet style.
The locality is beach facing, within two minutes walk of the town centre, lots of restaurants and shops. Airport is about 16 minutes drive and I would recommend Uber.
I would certainly return and would recommend the hotel to fellow travellers.

I paid for a room with a view to celebrate my birthday and it was well worth it. Zero complaints except next time I’ll bring my own shower gel. I will return.

"No Coffee for you"

How do you have a four star hotel in Spain, that offers all types of teas in the room, but not a drop of coffee? When we asked, thinking maid service had perhaps forgotten to leave a few envelopes, we were adamantly informed by reception that there was no coffee, and none would be provided.
Other than that, the view was expectacular. Our room was clean, nice size, and the bed was comfortable. One chair was provided if you wanted to sit relax and watch the view. I guess they expect the other guest to seat on the bed. One final note, why do hotels expect their guests to have an engineer degree in order to figure how to use the shower faucet?
The breakfast, they did provide coffee there, was the average fair, made better by the views.

Excellence Riazor.

Excellent quality - price ratio. Excellent location, quality, and service. Highly recommended, especially in the competitive offerings of La Coruña.

Good location, good room, but very dissatisfied with the staff's attention during check-in.
