Attention 10

The staff is very attentive 10/10 for breakfast prepare your eggs at the moment, infusions are always available during the day. The only thing I missed was a dryer and shampoo in the room but my room was spacious and 10 sheets

Good for price range

We stayed here before and after the Inca Trail.. initially we stayed in the front room, second floor with the balcony then when we returned out the back on the third floor. Everyone there is lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok for the price. But if you are a light sleeper you may struggle. The noise from the road out the front, people stomping up and down the stairs early hrs of the morning coming home after drinks and leaving for Machu Picchu may mean you don't get much sleep. But generally good place.

Cheap and cheerful

Because of the train delay we arrived at 3am instead of 10pm the day before, and the owner did his best to accommodate us. Many thanks!!! The hostel is located just a few minutes from the main square.

It was a nIce stay

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Conquista Cusco. The beds are comfortable, the shower water is hot and abundant and the wifi signal is ok. The breakfast is included in the price and is very good. I only missed some fresh fruit for breakfast, but this is compensated by the delicious natural juice.
The receptionist is very helpful, kind and informative.
Regarding the location, the hotel is 5 minutes away on foot from Plaza de Armas out of the central rustle.
They even stored our luggage for free on the days we left for Machu Picchu.
The only con to me, are the rooms right next to the reception that are noisy, but the rest of the rooms are absolutely ok.

Very hospitable very friendly

We stayed at Casa Conquista in Cusco for 5 days before we went on a trek and again for a night on our return. The hostal is run by a small local family who recently took over from a bad partnership. I have only good things to say about this place. The owner (who speaks decent English) told me that his goal is to have a place with a high level of hospitality and customer service because many places in Peru do not have this. Well he has it for sure! We always felt like part of the family! We were away for 6 days during our trek and when we returned at 10pm without a reservation the senora at the desk remembered us, which room we were in 6 days before and our luggage was still in the room waiting for us! (We paid no extra for this it's just what they do) the beds are comfy the wifi is strong the showers are hot and the people are like family. What more do you want?
