Cannot wait to return
A truly wonderful stay. My sister and I shared a canal view room that was lovely, comfortable, and the views were fantastic. Breakfast was very good with plentiful options. We loved the yogurt! The staff were friendly, confident, and simply fun. Sure there are stairs everywhere- it’s Amsterdam! If you want an authentic experience stay here. I’m returning this fall!

Outstanding property and service
Absolutely beautiful property! Centrally located, cozy lounging spaces throughout the hotel including the library, outdoor cafe and various conversation spaces. Service was exceptional, friendly, courteous and thoughtful staff from the moment we arrived.

Creative boutique hotel in great location
We just finished our second stay at the Ambassade. We again enjoyed our stay there but felt that the staff was just a notch below the excellence we experienced when staying there a year ago. The hotel was totally booked and we stayed in the Grand Suite because it was the only room available. We actually preferred the canal view room we had last year. The location in the 9 streets area is perfect and is in walking distance to everywhere.

Wonderful Hotel, Great People
Our stay at Ambassade Hotel turned out to be very different from what we had planned. We had a very nice room with a view of the canal, and were excited to explore Amsterdam. Two days after our arrival, my wife became quite ill and had to be transported to the hospital, and what was supposed to be a vacation quickly became a stressful and uncertain experience.
Throughout it all, the staff at Ambassade Hotel treated us with extraordinary kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Every interaction, from the front desk to the concierge and the rest of the team, was met with genuine concern and a sincere desire to help. They patiently answered our questions, assisted us whenever we needed support, and made a very difficult situation much easier to manage.
When you're traveling far from home, simple acts of kindness can mean more than words can express. Isa and all the staff helped us feel cared for and reassured during one of the most challenging parts of our trip, and we will always remember their warmth and hospitality.
The Ambassade is a wonderful hotel, but what truly sets it apart is its people. We are deeply grateful for the care and kindness shown to us, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Impecable
We had to make a last minute hotel change and the staff was incredibly gracious. You literally walk into an art museum with a book library with staff that are highly professional and extremely capable. From the coffee barista, to the sitting rooms to the restaurant, the food and the rooms, completely delightful. Location could not be better. When we get back to Amsterdam, we WILL stay here again.
