Lovely place to stay on the Kerry Way

Walking on the Kerry Way, I booked Moutain View B&B, which is 6k from the lovely town of Glenbeig. I wanted to make the next days journey a bit shorter. Anne, her husband, and family were very welcoming. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in for a long time and the breakfast was delicious.
There is even a Kerry Wsy wikilocs map from Mountain View to Cahersiveen, which made the onward journey easy while hiking. Totally recommend Mountain View B&B.

Highly recommended!!

No warm welcome, sober breakfast, cold shower; 2x, because the water heater is not turned on. Never ask if you have any wishes, if you're okay.
Little info about area.

Beautiful Ireland

During our bus ride between Cork and Killarney, we had the opportunity to pass through the Kerry Mountains. A true representation of just how beautiful Ireland can be. We loved the ride, seeing stone walls and sheep everywhere, and how amazingly green everything is. And it doesn't cost you a dime to experience it.

From my holiday cottage

Excellent views around the Kerry ring,so many places to visit including bars,restraunts,shops.The ring of Kerry is a 4 hour journey by coach,I went in a hired car so I could stop and take in the wonderful views

Very basic room, good breakfast

We stayed here when we touring the Ring of Kerry.
The room was clean but very,very basic. The decor is very 70s, there was no radio or TV in the room although there was free Wifi.
Advertised as having free toiletries, but there wasn't.
The breakfast was very filling but it would have been nice to be told ( or had a menu) so as to know what was available and be given a choice, eg how we'd like the eggs to be cooked.
Previous reviews, albeit quite old, stated how friendly the owner was, we however found the lady of the house to be quite dour.
Not close enough to walk into Glenbeigh.
