Local couple leaving abroad returns for their wedding

The location is fantastic and it's a very cozy spot close to the city. We did enjoy our stay and would recommend the place. They even did the extra mile as we were getting married that week and we do greatly appreciate it

We have stayed here in the summer for the last several years. Each time it has exceeded our expectations. Quiet, clean, on the north edge of old town Rethymno, so the perfect location to explore there. It's also beautiful on the inside (like many of the very old houses, the architecture is hidden from the narrow street). Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful residence and very polite employees. We even had a map with places we could visit in the city. I will definitely come back again!

Like coming home - dreamlike accommodation in Rethymno

We have now been to this great accommodation in Rethymno a total of four times. The first time in October 2024 - and we liked it so much that we spontaneously stopped by again at the end of our Crete trip for our last night - and then again in October 2025, also twice during our Crete trip. And it was definitely not the last time :) Iro is such a warm and nice person! We felt completely comfortable and right at home. Iro's nice, personal welcome and her tips for restaurants, cafes, and excursions in and around Rethymno definitely contributed to that. Iro was reachable via WhatsApp beforehand and also during our stay, and she always answered us quickly and helped us out. Her parents are also so warm and friendly! It is like coming home or visiting friends... We stayed in three different rooms. All were clean, furnished with a lot of love, and equipped with everything you need. An absolute dream is the shared rooftop terrace, where you can experience beautiful sunsets or simply hang up your swimwear to dry. The location is great. Central and yet quiet. It is only a few meters to the old harbor. A supermarket and great restaurants are also right nearby. It is also not far to a public parking lot. And we were even able to walk to the bus station with a large suitcase. To make a long story short: Everything is just right here and we would love to come back. We are already looking forward to our next visit, dear Iro!

Couldn’t ask for more.

Perfect location. Spotless accommodation. Nice little balcony. All facilities you would ever need. Really attentive and helpful staff. Iro was lovely and very helping with recommendations and assistance. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
