As always...

You know what to expect when booking a Scandic and Odense delivered. We stayed here twice during the summer, on our way down to France and also back from France. Good location close to the highway with a good restaurant and , of course, breakfast "The Scandic Way"! Complaints, one, the pillows are not good at all

One night visit to Scandic Odense

I made a last-minute booking to Scandic Odense as we had been driving few hours from North of Denmark to get to South of Denmark, and we were all in need of rest. The hotel is easy to reach from the motorway. Upon arrival the building didn’t look very inviting from the outside however on the inside the hotel is cosy and the staff very friendly.
We had a family room which was adequate for our needs. The lack of air conditioning could make the room a bit stuffy and hot, however that day was quite windy and cool so the room temperature was fine. The only minus point I would say is the ladder to the kids bed as our 10-year old found it difficult to climb.
The breakfast was good and plenty of food to choose from. The waitresses looked happy and smiling and were very friendly.

Nice clean room with nice bed and perfect pillow.
Really good breakfast buffet with many options.

Super caring and flexible service

Thank you for the flexible, personal and caring service for a small family party 2.5, which needed an evening arrangement under private forms. Really well crafted 3 dishes menu. We could stay in the room as long as we needed. Clean and neat in the maybe a little too small standard rooms, with maybe a little too small beds. However, it was offset by the lovely staff and the megalackre breakfast buffet. Family room with bunk beds was a hit. We'll be back.

It is with heavy steps – and with great seriousness

It is with heavy steps – and with great seriousness – that this notification must come forward. Discreetly and without noise, I must acknowledge that it is a great pleasure to be a guest at Scandic Odense.
There is something almost cinematic about the experience. You step in by the door, and immediately it feels like a place where everyone knows everyone. Not because you are recognized as a regular guest, but because the atmosphere is permeated by presence and genuine interest. It’s like entering a scene where all roles are occupied by people who actually like being there.
And it’s not just one department that stands out. All personnel categories – at all levels – are at the top. Service, kindness and warmth drop out of every corner of the place. Whether you meet the reception, restaurant, housekeeping or technical staff, you are greeted by smiles, greetings and a natural welcoming that is contagious. That's where the tone goes on. It is there that you notice that culture is not random, but deeply rooted.
The atmosphere is world-class. Everything works, everything is fine, and everything is as you hope it will be... every single time. It’s rare for a hotel to create a sense of home without losing its hotel charm – but Scandic Odense does. And that’s why I – with a certain reluctance to reveal one of Fyn’s best-kept secrets – must note that it is a pleasure to return. Again and again.
