Fantastic option for the Santiago area
I came for the first time to use it as a base to go to O Son do Camiño, I have repeated for O Gozo Festival. What to say, fantastic treatment, fantastic breakfast, fantastic place and a location that allows you to do many things. I have felt at home from minute one. We will surely return more times.

Excellent menu.
I do not know the hotel, but everything looks very clean and well-maintained. We had the tasting menu and it was fantastic. The waiter was very professional and very friendly. We were delighted!

100% recommended
Ideal place to disconnect for a few days. We were two pairs of friends to spend three nights; location in a village but very well connected with everything, with Santiago a stone's throw away.
Excellent owners Ana and Manuel, always watching that we did not lack anything; also Sergio who was for everything. They made us feel like we've known each other our whole lives.
The hotel is small (10 rooms), but clean and very nice. All very welcoming and tasteful.
The rich, homemade and varied food, we made breakfast and dinner, and always for dinner we were asked what we wanted to be prepared in the mornings before leaving. Perfect breakfasts with variety to choose from.
We will definitely return, 100% recommended.

PEACE, BEAUTY, GASTRONOMY.
I have just been with my girlfriend 5 wonderful days in FOGAR DO SELMO, we have been very HAPPY both, everything I can describe is little. The place is LOVELY, the surroundings surrounded by pine forests, eucalyptus birches, is BEAUTIFUL, we were looking for a QUIET and WELL LOCATED accommodation and is exactly what we found, PEACE, SERENITY... It is an old farmhouse converted into a rural hotel and restaurant, the decoration according to it, with AUTHENTIC TASTE, well taken care of in all the details, either in the common areas (dining rooms, gardens, swimming pool ) or in the rooms (with very comfortable beds ).
Less than 30-40 minutes drive from countless charming villages as well as TURQUOISE COLORED BEACHES, nothing crowded.
Both breakfasts and even more if dinners are worth noting for the REAL HOMEMADE AND TRADITIONAL FOOD OF THE AREA, RICH AND ABUNDANT, and all with an unbeatable Quality / Price ratio.
And finally mention the EXQUISITE TREATMENT OF THE STAFF very professional but above all NICE NATURAL AND WITH VOCATION TO HELP AT ALL TIMES in what the stay itself refers as advice to make the most of the stay. Thank you to all the workers , especially SERGIO who made us the route of 5 days, great knowledge of the area, and attended us during check in and check out as in breakfast and dinner formidable. Also thanks to MANUEL and ANA for everything. Hope to come back as soon as we can!!

Unforgettable First Communion celebration
We celebrated our son's First Communion at Fogar do Selmo and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We would especially like to highlight the warm and friendly service of the restaurant owners, as well as the excellent service of Rosana, the waitress who served us with exceptional professionalism and friendliness.
The food was delicious and plentiful, with well-presented and high-quality dishes. Everyone was delighted. Plus, the setting is beautiful, perfect for such a special day. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place for celebrations or simply enjoying a good meal in a cozy atmosphere.
