cold summer
I found this hostel very clean , organized , very easy to find on google map door was marked clearly and in fabulous location . I just don’t understand why all that negative feedback been left !!!
I booked a room at short notes and I paid through secure sms text msg . I got reply with in minutes by few codes , how to inter the building and to get the key to my room no reception staff just like future technology I have never seen before in Europe
The room was clean with balcony on the main street Hristo botev blvd / with fridge , aircon, hot water kettle, flat screen Tv just like any 4 stars hotel except the bathroom was outside the room . well what more can I expect at this price .
For me to give this place 5 stars I am not exaggerating , but I do believe they deserve it .
I am not someone who just left the emigration camps in Syria who’s welling to sleep on the floor . I live luxuries life in London but its just matter of challenge, to find the cheapest and the best . and this place with no doubt it was the best .
Although it was in the middle of summer but the temperature was low 13 at night to 20c during the day so I did not need to use the aircon .
However I checked my account few times and there aren’t any unlawful charges .
Most of the reviews was written out of anger
I think visitors should be more honest about there experience before writing bad review can give wrong image to others
The location of the hostel is really astonishing, just one street to the main Bazar in sofia and right in the center of the town with about 14 min by foot from the main bus station .
Finally I do recommend this place and I will put it in my first search option for the next time I come to sofia

Hemsk vistelse, hemska människor!
Det här stället är hemskt, om det är så billigt så är det av en anledning!
- De är bedragare: fick oss att betala 3 euro mer än vad som avtalades på bokningen (för "luftkonditioneringsavgifter" som inte nämndes någonstans & trots all inclusive-pris)
– Vi betalade extra för en balkong men inga rum har en!
– De hotade oss att eskortera oss ut med säkerhet eftersom vi inte skickade vår legitimation tillräckligt snabbt (vi hade inte internet i Sofia och bokade för samma dag)
- Deras wi - fi fungerade inte
- Glöm att sova: det är väldigt högt och gardinerna hindrar inte ljuset alls från att komma in på morgnarna
– Bara positivt: städerskan är väldigt trevlig

Aldrig mer!!!!
Vi har försökt ringa till fastigheten - för att hitta platsen men ingen svarar på telefonen. Efter att ha gått i regnet,
folk berättade att receptionen är i annan byggnad 7 minuters promenad på 3: e våningen utan hiss.
Ägaren var ovänlig.
Vi payed för 4 handdukar - de gav oss bara 3.
vi var tvungna att gå igen till receptionen för att begära 1 handduk mer - ingen svarar på telefonen.
Vi var tvungna att betala för luftkonditionering också. En av sängen var en soffa.
De har en säkerhetskameror runt - en punkt genom dörren in i lägenheten.
Rummet är smutsigt och stinkigt.
Toaletten wad blockeras och stinky.

I want to share my experience so that others don’t get trapped like me.
I had booked accommodation in Bulgaria via Agoda, but the address was wrong.
The owner then contacted me privately to send me an external payment link, for a higher amount than expected (55 € instead of 51 €).
It was only after he paid that he gave me another address, asking for the numbers of our passports before giving me the access code.
Once there, the accommodation did not match the photos at all:
strong cigarette smell,
dirty and poorly maintained place,
no resemblance to the announcement,
and very suspicious behavior of the owner, who appeared to be inside the building.
Travelling with the family, I preferred to leave the place immediately and book another hotel at my expense.
I contacted Agoda to request a refund and report this misleading ad.
I would like to warn all travellers:
⚠️ Do not book this accommodation, it is clearly a scam.
Several other customers reported similar experiences.

My advice: do NOT book this accommodation!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! They charge you extra without telling you!!! Dirty. Noot as advertised. Rude staff
Don't ever stay with them. They will overcharge you without telling you, the place is super dirty, not as advertised and the staff are really rude and unhelpful. They charged me £20 for air conditioning and a towel although the property was advertised with them WITHOUT AN EXTRA CHARGE. they will take as much money as they want from your bank account. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
