Irpinian excellence.
Silver wedding, surrounded by greenery, in a structure of excellence, all cared for artfully and with taste.
A traveling dinner from Irpinia to my Naples.
The delicacy of the creamed cod, the surprise of Montella's ricotta cheese that reveals itself from the shell that guards it, the intensity of smoked angus carpaccio with pecorino wafer....
The tortello stuffed with parmesan a real delight,
and the Genoese "Neapolitan" like the Chef: decisive, but delicate thanks to Montoro onions and veal podolico.
The veal cheek in cocoa sauce with an intense flavor such as Testarosso, a "harmonious" wine that enhances every evolution of the culinary path.
Diplomatic cake of high pastry : perfect finish.

The resort is a beautiful property, in Frigento, easily accessible by car by inserting the navigator.
Beautiful place, characteristic organization of hospitality with rooms surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove. The restaurant is a further excellence, thanks to the supervision of the "master prof. Head" who dedicated the spaces granted by his profession to this, initial, his Hobby.

We had a really good time
We were welcomed and then followed and 'pampered' by the director Lucio, a capable young man, nice and of immense kindness and friendliness, caring and always quick to meet even the slightest need that we exposed. The estate is very large and very well structured and cared for. The spacious and very comfortable rooms, with large and functional bathrooms.
The food impressed us for the great goodness of each dish: impeccable ingredients cooked in a truly magnificent way, all delicious, succulent.
Lucio also pleasantly entertained us on the various qualities of oil produced with the fruits of the very large olive grove of this estate, making us taste all and illustrating the characteristics and differences - albeit slight - between one quality and another. We slept blissfully in total silence, and the cold and humid outside temperature was very well tempered by the heating system, independent for each room.
In the fireplace room Mrs. Katia meanwhile prepared the Christmas decorations, making the environment even more welcoming

Above expectation!!!!
Above all expectations!! We stayed at the Mill this weekend. An exceptional location , well-kept green spaces , a magnificent olive grove , regenerating silence among scents of aromatic plants , rosemary , lavender , mind .. and still some roses in bloom . Lunch and dinner with an applause to the kitchen, really impeccable with excellent enhancement of their products at zero "meter" and use of the excellence of the territory. A special mention for the director Lucio , affable , welcoming, absolute availability, he represents the extra gear of the structure for which he strives with competence and an obvious love. He also intrigued us with an engaging tasting and explanation of the production oils. What more can I say? Thanks to all the staff and also to Katia valid collaborator. We hope to return soon.

MYTHICAL
But what took us so long?
after having been here and after having seen and tried so many beautiful places anyway, it is difficult to leave a review on this reality, because anything you can 'write positive will never live up to the location, the room for customers, the comfort of the beds and pillows of the cleanliness, the nature in which it is immersed, the breakfast , the restaurant of the service: here the latter deserves a separate speech because it is really rare to find people so passionate about their work, the reception of the customer but also the professionalism with which they tell you about the specialties of the house, from breakfast to dinner, the ingredients used all strictly local and finally the history of those valleys, all mixed with good drinking and seasoned with the cuddles of two amazing hosts like Lucio and Katy and a perfect chef and that leave you alone with an unresolved question: but why did we only get there today so late?
