Ett mycket bra hotell
Ett lugnt hotell i ett fantastiskt läge - inte en billig destination alls, men vi hade en fantastisk tid. Vi möttes varmt av hotellchefen och personalen, och Beatrice (tack) tog väl hand om oss med en rundtur, en gratis glass och en båttur. Mycket trevligt faktiskt.
Rummet var underbart.
Middag också mycket trevligt. Och frukost första klass på morgonen vid det bästa bord jag tror att jag någonsin tagit frukost på.
Svårt att kritisera men här går - en alkoholfri champagne tillgänglig för förare skulle vara trevligt (men mocktail var härlig, tack) och bara titta på kostnaden för parkering som vi inte riktigt fick veta och det var över dubbelt så mycket priset för att parkera bilen på The Savoy i London.
Tack alla för en minnesvärd vistelse

Lysande årsdag firande på Splendido Mare!
Vår tid på Splendido var magnifik med början i vårt rum med utsikt över Portofino Harbor. Det var underbart att vakna upp till den stadiga brisen och upptagen kommer och går i området. Så mycket att se och utforska med vandringar till Santa Margarita, båtturer till Cinqueterra, och underbara ställen att äta. Personalen på Splendido var oöverträffad och vi skulle definitivt återvända i framtiden!

Belmond sviker inte
När i Portofino är detta ett bra ställe att bo och varva ner. Uppskattade lunchen med bubblor och den övergripande servicen. Alla talade engelska och var mycket tillmötesgående - älskade linne kvalitet för sängkläder och kuddar.
