Eat-sleep-leave
The room itself was enough for one person: big bed, mosquito nets, bathroom, TV, free working wifi and fridge in room. Everything was neat and clean here.
Check in went easy even though I've been quite late as the front desk is open 24-7.
Even got a simple but fresh and good meal in the on- site restaurant. Breakfast is also available here.
Dahla House is somehow on the main touristy road and therefore you just gave to step to either side of the street and you'll find different restaurants, bars, shops etc.
So all in all good place to spend the night but don't expect luxury or a hotel you'd enjoy spending time in your room... just get out and explore!

Sub-Standard
First thing that was evident was the attitude of the management; if not hostile, then definitely not welcoming. The room itself was very shabby, with no sheets to sleep under, just a horrible, unhygienic synthetic blanket. The air conditioning I paid extra for didn’t work, and there was no toilet roll.
Finally, it is not good value; for the same price I got a really nice hotel room in Khao Lak, that was an entirely different league from this hovel. I would never return to Ranong, but if you have to endure a night there, avoid this place!
