My experience at Porto Vecchio.

We had an excellent stay. Nice hospitality, good breakfast, excellent view. The place is very near to nice restorants. Amazing location. The pier, where the water taxi arrive, is located in front of Port Vecchio. The old Harbor area is the most cosmopolitan and picturesque area of Spetses. From the terrace of the Ambassador apartment, we were able to see the entire Old harbor of Spetses.

Lovely, hospitable and excellent location

My stay at Porto Vecchio was lovely - full of warmth and hospitality - and I would certainly return. This hotel used to be a private residence. It is now a 4-room boutique hotel. The location is excellent - not in the "main" part of town, but a short walk away, and in front of a picturesque old port. It is also a short walk from the best beaches on the island. The gentleman who owns the hotel, Mr. Dimitri, is very kind and goes way above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and having a nice stay. Here is just one example: before arriving, I called the hotel to see if I needed to arrange for a taxi to pick me up from the port to get to the hotel. The owner's wife picked up and said that her husband would arrange for a taxi AND that he would be waiting at the port for us to ensure everything went smoothly. So kind. The amenities were simple, clean, and not lavish, but this was fine as we felt we had everything we needed. This was a perfect place to unplug and relax. Greece is special for many reasons, but for me, the biggest is the warmth of the people. We experienced that warmth during our visit staying at Porto Vecchio.

Very nice place

Very nice place and beautifully located. The pool is very quiet and not very large but sufficient.
Dimitrios is very attentive to its customers.
Ask for rooms overlooking the pool to be quiet.
Hearty breakfast
Comfortable bed

BOTTOM OF OUR EXPECTATIONS ....

Under moderate proportional to price/night :
1) we saw the hotel via booking While the junior suite is overlooking the sea, you can only see the sea from the kitchen window while you are making your coffee ... the real view you see is the pool that is remarkable !!! While we ⁇ it with dissatisfaction at the check in that it does not see the sea and while ALL the rooms were PERMISSIVE as mentioned to us and the manager of the accommodation (worth curiosity for such a period) did not even suggest us upgrade ....
Nonetheless the room renovated and functional ... !!
2) the kitchen window has no balcony door and there is no darkness for those who have sensitive sleep like us ... in the morning at sunrise the sun really entered the room ...
3) the morning PANFTOCHO the woman who was preparing it AGENESTATIS ...appeared to be making an agraria. He made an omelet and two toasts that for the price of 310€ per night did not correspond in any case ....
She didn't get anything extra, not even a fruit...
4) THE FIRST DAY THE FRIDERY Smelled HUGE, WHEN WE SEEKED IN THE FRIDERY IT WAS A BOLL OF ICE SIGURY FOR A LOTH DAYS ... the refrigerator, of course, did not fade the beverage.. we ⁇ it to the person in charge but he did not worry and at all said to the maid and took the bowl it thrown and all well ........... only we gave 310€ at night ...
5) The positive is that the manager of the accommodation on the first day served us by taking my husband to the CEP.

Beautiful, charming boutique hotel!

We stayed 2 nights at this very charming little boutique hotel in Spetses. The room overlooking the harbour was very well appointed with some nice touches like robes, slippers, water, and some treats.
Breakfast was served each morning poolside which was made to order and very good!
The owner was very helpful and made recommendations for restaurants and arranging to get an ATV for us.
Some of the reviews complained of use from nearby clubs but we did not hear any noise at all!
We would definitely recommend this place- it was the highlight of our trip to Greece!
