Bonifacio is a two and a half hour drive from Ajaccio Airport. Head east from the airport taking the Route de Campo Dell Oro. From here, get on the N193 exiting on to the N196. Take the exit for the D160A and follow signs for Bonifacio.
Porto Vecchio is the St Tropez of Corsica. Unashamedly en-vogue, this beautiful bay town is filled with designer boutiques, fine dining restaurants, achingly hip hotels and a harbour teeming with iridescent yachts. Just a stone’s throw from Porto Vecchio are some of Corsica’s most dazzling of beaches – ribbons of pristine white sand lapped by crystalline waters.
Porto Vecchio is a drive of just under three hours from Ajaccio Airport. From the airport head east onto the Route de Campo Dell Oro. Get on to the N196 and exit onto the N2198 following signs to Porto Vecchio.
This seductive town, and birthplace of Napoleon, on the enchanting French island of Corsica is a picture postcard of sweeping palm fringed avenues, classy waterside cafes and a museum housing one of the most important collections of Italian paintings in France. The majestic scenery of the Prunelli Gorges is a haven for walkers and hikers while the ancient old town with its winding streets, just yearns to be explored. Ajaccio town is just a 20 minute drive from the airport. Simply head east from the airport and get on the Route de Campo Dell Oro. Follow this to the N193 and signs to the centre of Ajaccio.
